“I have looked into your eyes with my eyes. I have put my heart near your heart.” ~Pope John XXIII
I guess that should have been the title of the last post. I tried the “test” again tonight, and seeing that you wouldn’t believe me if I told you what really happened, let’s say that she passed again.
That being said …
I guess no one noticed that the look of the blog has slightly changed. Well, no one has mentioned it, except of course Ken, who can see into my soul.
Actually, there are two new looks. The blog will look different on a mobile browser vs a “regular” browser. If you are on your Blackberry, iPxx, or Android, you can scroll to the bottom and switch between the regular view and the mobile browser view.
I’m pretty much done with the geek stuff for now. A real post will be up shortly.
What really happened? I’d believe you.
Actually, I noticed your blog look had changed. I really liked the old one better. It “felt” better sensorially (is that a word?) to me. But I didn’t comment because what really matters is if YOU like it better.
And I’d believe you. I’d like to hear what happened.
I like this one better than the black one, but I like the old one best. It just feels better to my eyes.
Talking about eyes, wonderful that she looked into yours on request! A big step for Pearlsky and you!
I like the new look, especially the colors. An updated look for the new year is a great idea! And it looks great on my Android, too! You are quite brilliant, SD.
We’ll believe you!
TELL US ALREADY!
I noticed the change on your site! I actually like it quite a bit better: it is cleaner and easier to read. The only thing I wish I was different was that you could read a full post at once, without needed to click on “read more.” That often keeps me from reading more then the first few visible lines.
Far more importantly, I’m thrilled for your test results. I hope you continue to get the same, day after day…and I would love to hear what ‘really happened.’
Your posts really move me. I work with kids with severe disabilities, though much younger then your Pearlsky, and I often think about who they will be, what they will be like, when they are teenagers. Some of them will be similar to your daughter, albeit with different causes. I wonder what their lives will be like, because it is so much easier to care for and live with a severely disabled small child then a teenager. Some of their families are awesome, but so many of them, I wish were as supportive and loving with their child as you are with Pearlsky. (I know, you’re human, you get frustrated, and you aren’t perfect. But hear what I’m saying nonetheless.)
Hang in there.
I like the look of the new blog, too, except for having to click “read more.” I don’t know why I hate that, but I do.
You almost got ‘whack’ comment from me because I must’ve opened this during the change process – it was all black with white font. So I think this looks fine. Really. Believe me!
