Emasculated
Email I sent to Assistant Superintedent for Student Services yesterday morning:
I was completely mortified this morning by some of the high school staff and actually feel emasculated, hence you need to act.
Because of the efforts and work of the Special Ed Coordinator, the gossip trail tells me that I came across as having been “nice” in the IEP, said by those not in the meeting. This is an unacceptable emasculation.
As I explained to said staff, I was forced into it and it was not my fault. There was no one to argue with, no one withholding services, no one being stubborn or obstinate. My reputation is shot and I cannot show my face around there (which very well may be a blessing to many).
“Nice.” Geeeeze, not even my mother uses that adjective …
Maybe they rolled under the pool table…
They said nice? Nice?! Take up arms, my friend, you have a reputation to get back.
oh, oh, oh – I’d comment, but I need both hands wrapped around my ribs when I’m laughing this hard.
