Uggh
I made a medicine error today. Did not seem to mess her up. Sure messed me up.
Damn.
But she does look cute when pictured with her dog-ugly dad, no?

I love the look on her face as she’s looking at you. Mischievous smile! Great picture of you both.
I melted. The obvious love on her face…
If you picked out her shirt, you even have good taste. SD I know some days it must not feel like it, but you ARE a great, awesome dad.
First time commenter – have read every single post (and comment) on your blog. First of all, thank you for writing it – I’ve learned so much. And second of all, and most importantly: The look of pure, unadulterated love coming from your beautiful daughter to you says everything anyone needs to know. You are a FANTASTIC father and Pearlsky knows it. And if she knows nothing else, she knows she is loved. And really, that’s all any of us can hope for in this life. π
Really wonderful photo — of you BOTH!
Nice smile. π
I’ve done the same, twice π Didn’t realize the caregiver had given her morning meds and double dosed her. I felt horrible beyond words. I think we’ve all done something similar, so don’t be hard on yourself. You are an exemplary father – certainly the kind of father I hoped Carrie’s father would be. I also taught special ed and can attest to the fact that fathers like you are few and far between. You are both beautiful, inside and out – and I absolutely LOVE the was she is looking at you : )
I think it is a beautiful picture of the TWO of you.
No communication my ass… If that isn’t communicating love you dad. Than what is it ? Nice picture thanks for sharing π
I had the same thought. I don’t think SD is being literal when he says that Pearlsky has no communication.
Just teasing him
Kind of hard to tell on the internet.
Sorry about that
Don’t worry. The inflection BOINKED me a few hours ago.
Awe such a lovely picture, Pearlsky is beautiful and boy that picture tells us how much she loves her Dad!!!
Oiy, that sucks about the medicine. Mistakes happen, I’m so glad she seems okay.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous pair. Is that one of the shirts you’ve chosen for her? You do have fine taste.
Shana Tova.
Awesome photo of both of you. I am sure there are many “communicative” children who do not look in to their parents’ eye with the same love she obviously has.
Love her smile!
That picture is worth a thousand words! Simply beautiful! Forgive yourself SD….we are only human.
I seriously keep going back to that picture – just heart melting, the way she is looking at you. She looks so much like my daughter.
I’m sure if you got a dollar for every comment on that beautiful, dark curly hair you would have made a fortune by now. She is so pretty. Thanks for sharing!
FANTASTIC Picture! π
That is love, pure love π Or, to use your word, adore π Pearlsky is a beautiful young woman.
What a lovely picture of you both. I see the love, that’s what I see, the love you have for each other.
Pearlsky is gorgeous. It’s so cool when the camera catches these moments with our kids. Her playfulness and the love in her eyes are all there!
Usually by the time someone grabs a camera at our house Daniel decides to hide the good stuff.
Amazing photo! What a beautiful smile. Thank you for sharing it.
I know that everyone else has said this. But I cannot stop looking at that picture. The love pouring out of the picture keeps bringing me to tears.
Tis a lovely photo.
Dropping by to wish you a Shana Tova U’Mitukah, full of blessings and obvious good. And many many more smiles.
Happy new year! I hope it brings you and your children love good health and joy!
Thank you, and to you and all who celebrate, the same!
