Ouch …
Someone found my blog with the google search “terrified of having disabled child” and has read the whole thing. I can only hope and pray it somehow helps.
On the other hand, I won’t comment on the person who found me via “Daugter shirt off” or “can a doctor tell if a girl masturbates by peeing in a cup.”
Jeeze.
I am not computer savvy enough to see how people search and find me. I think maybe that’s a good thing.
The number one page that is googled on my blog, consistently each day, is “Bringing Out the Big Guns,” which chronicled the beginning of a new drug we were trying for Sophie’s seizures.
Scary stuff.
Mine was recently stumbled on by a googling of “mothers who lie to doctors to get their kids on medicine”…
For the record…I wouldn’t know!
@Elizabeth…ACTH??

Danielle — ACTH? Heavens no! That’s an old drug — the one we tried when Sophie was diagnosed with infantile spasm fifteen years ago. A horrendous experience in every way with absolutely no benefit. No, I think the “bringing out the big guns” post was when we went on the very new drug Banzel — it had just been approved for use. It, too, didn’t work.
And I really thought I’d nailed it too.
We had short term success with ACTH. Banzel was a complete bust.
